You have to look closely at this photograph to see the full image, the destruction in the foreground is juxtaposed with the Statue of Liberty in the background, I think this creates a pleasing compostion. This is hightlights by the ghostly colour of the Statue of Liberty, maybe suggesting a change for the better as it comes out of the distance, howver it could also suggest the opposite the good is fading away.
